New York, NY — Today Built In announced that Quartet Health was honored in its 2021 Best Places To Work Awards. Quartet was named one of the NYC Best Midsize Companies to Work For, NYC Best Places to Work, NYC Companies with the Best Benefits, and Best Remote-First Companies to Work For. The annual awards include companies of all sizes, from startups to the enterprise, nationally and in the eight largest US tech markets.
Quartet is a platform that makes it easier for people to get the best mental health care for them. It does that by reaching people who need care, connecting them to the right care for them, tracking their quality of care, and making sure they’re supported on their care journeys. Quartet is working toward a day when every person with a mental health condition can easily get the care they need. To get there, it’s building a better mental healthcare system:
Built In’s esteemed Best Places to Work awards, now in its third year, honor companies across numerous categories: 100 Best Places to Work, 50 Best Small Places to Work, 100 Best Midsize Places to Work, 50 Companies with the Best Benefits and 50 Best Paying Companies. Two new national categories reflect what candidates are searching for, including 100 Best Large Companies to Work For and 50 Best Remote-First Places to Work.
“We’re so excited to be honored by Built In again as one of the best places to work,” said Ingrid Kessler, Chief People Strategy Officer at Quartet. “At Quartet, we pride ourselves on creating a healthy culture where employees have the support they need to bring their whole selves to work, replenish themselves regularly, and truly thrive in their careers. By doing what we can to care for our employees in these uniquely challenging times, our employees are able to focus on our mission to improve the lives of people with mental health conditions through technology and services.”
Quartet offers benefits that enable a healthy work-life balance, including a flexible work schedule, generous mental health and insurance benefits, extended paid parental and military leaves, and unlimited vacation and sick time. It’s also quickly adapted to help staff stay both physically and mentally healthy throughout the pandemic. That includes scheduling more breaks and time off, having meeting-free days, adding a clinician to our HR team, and expanding mental health benefits and benefits for parents and guardians of young children. Quartet’s also added extra Zoom hangouts, brought on virtual guest speakers, and hosted virtual team events, workouts, meditation sessions and regular Q&As with an infectious disease specialist to answer the team’s questions about staying safe throughout the pandemic.
Built In determines winners for Best Places to Work based on an algorithm, using company data about compensation, benefits and cultural programs. To reflect the attributes candidates are searching for on Built In today, this year’s program weighted criteria more heavily, like remote opportunities and programs for diversity, equity and inclusion.
“These companies raise the bar for cultural excellence and the ability to adapt to meet changing needs of employees,” says Sheridan Orr, Chief Marketing Officer, Built In. “The 2021 winners show a commitment not just to creating meaningful cultures but to delivering talent needs as they change in a dynamic landscape. We’re thrilled to extend our congratulations to the winners.”
Last year, Quartet was ranked #4 on Built In’s 2020 list of the Best Places to Work in New York City, as well as one of the Best Midsize Companies to Work for, Best Paying Companies, and Companies With the Best Benefits. It was also honored as one of Modern Healthcare’s 2020 Best Places to Work in Healthcare for the 4th time, named to the 2020 CB Insights Digital Health 150 List of Most Innovative Digital Health Startups, and Quartet CEO David Wennberg was one of Comparably’s Best CEOs in 2020.
Tech professionals rely on Built In’s Best Places to Work lists to discover employers that align with their preferences, passions and values. Since its inception three years ago, the award has expanded in reach, from online views of tens of thousands to just under 1 million views today.
