NEW YORK, NY — Quartet Health, a platform that makes it easier for people to get the best mental health care for them, looks forward to working with the Biden Administration to prioritize mental health care for Americans and institute policies that help more people get the care they need. In the wake of COVID-19, mental health needs are skyrocketing. It was difficult for people to access mental health care even before the pandemic, and the psychological pressures that Covid-19 has brought — isolation and physical distancing, fast-rising unemployment and economic loss — have triggered what amounts to a secondary pandemic for millions of Americans.
The current mental health system simply doesn’t work. Mental health care is difficult to access, separated from the rest of health care, not consistently high-quality, and often transactional. To drive real change and help people easily get the mental health care they need even after the pandemic, Quartet encourages the Biden Administration to invest in three important areas:

Today, Quartet Health announced a partnership with SilverCloud Health to offer clinically-validated digital mental health support to its patients nationwide. Through the collaboration, patients connected to care through Quartet can use SilverCloud’s computerized cognitive behavioral therapy (cCBT) tools to access digital mental health services via smartphone, smartwatch, tablet, or computer.
